Roxan guise, md. fcfp

Dr. Guise graduated from the University of Toronto in 1991. She completed her residency training in Family Medicine at the University of Western Ontario in 1993. Dr. Guise joined Niagara Health Services in 1993 and took Dr. Ted Dickinson’s practice over when he retired from the group. Dr. Guise enjoys biking, golfing and swimming.

Jason morin, md. FCFP

Originally from New Brunswick, Dr. Morin graduated from Dalhousie University Medical School (Halifax, N.S.) in 1997. He completed his residency training (Family Medicine) at the University of Western Ontario (London) in 1999 and joined Niagara Health Services in January, 2000. as a senior reviewer/contributor to trip advisor, he considers himself an aspiring food and wine critic. His interests include skiing, travel and music (modern rock/alternative genre).... and Despite Tom Brady leaving the team, he remains a loyal Patriots fan.

Kara Tenhoeve, BSc, MD, CCFP

Dr. Tenhoeve completed her Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences at The University of Western Ontario. Dr. Tenhoeve graduated in 2007; completing her medical degree at the University of Toronto 2011 and her medical residency at the University of Toronto at Barrie, Ontario. Dr. Tenhoeve, joined Niagara Medical Group in 2023 and has a special interest in preventative medicine, minor procedures, and chronic disease management. Dr. Tenhoeve lives in Niagara Falls with her husband, and 2 children. She enjoys the outdoors, hiking, paddleboarding and playing with her children. She has recently started to practice watercolour.

michael nagel, md, ccfp

Dr. Nagel completed his Bachelor of Science with Honors and his Masters of Science at Brock University. In 1989 Dr. Nagel completed his Doctorate of Chiropractic from the CMCC in Toronto. Dr. Nagel completed his medical degree in 2005 and his medical residency in 2008. Dr. Nagel has a keen interest in Sports Medicine. He lives in the Niagara region with his family and cats. Dr. Nagel enjoys restoring vintage sports cars and has a special interest in mechanical watches.

ehab wassif, md, ccfp

Dr. Wassif graduated from medical school in 1995, completing his specialty in Family Medicine at The University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario. He has been practicing in the Niagara Region for over 3 years. dr. wassif lives with his wife and two children in niagara falls.

eric zufelt, bsc, md, ccfp

Originally from Barrie, Ontario, Dr. Zufelt completed his BSc with Honors in Biology from Queens University in Kingston from 2007-2011. He remained at Queens for his Medical Degree from 2007-2011. From there he came to Niagara and finished his Residency in Family Medicine at the McMaster Niagara Family Health Centre in St. Catharines. Shortly after that he joined the Niagara Medical Group on Queen St. in Niagara Falls in summer 2013. Dr. Zufelt enjoys providing primary care for patients from babies to grandparents and everything in between. Special interests include preventative care and education in medicine and he is involved with the Niagara Regional Campus of McMaster University. He lives in Niagara Falls with his wife, daughter and son. He enjoys running, cycling, hockey, squash and fishing in Niagara.

ryan hogg, bsc, md, ccfp

Dr. Hogg completed his Bachelor of Science with Honors in Kinesiology at the University of Waterloo. Dr. Hogg graduated in 2014; completing his medical degree at the University of Ottawa in 2012 and his medical residency at McMaster University. After completing his medical residency Dr. Hogg completed 4 months of additional training in palliative care. He also enjoys performing minor procedures and chronic disease management. Dr. Hogg lives in fonthill with his wife Kristen and their three daughters. He enjoys indoor and beach volleyball, as well as, distance cycling. Dr. Hogg also volunteers at the Southridge Community Church in Vineland with the Migrant Worker Health Clinic.

christopher russell, bsc, md, ccfp

Dr. Russell completed his Bachelor of Health Sciences at McMaster University; completing his medical degree at the University of Ottawa in 2018 and his medical residency at McMaster University Niagara Campus in 2020. Following his residency he joined the Niagara Medical Group in September of 2020. Dr. Russell is originally from Fonthill, ON, where he lives with his wife Kim and their daughter. He also enjoys gardening and outdoor activities in his spare time

amina brar, BSc, MD, CCFP

Dr. Brar completed her Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences at Brock University.  Dr. Brar graduated in 2008; completing her medical degree at Windsor University School of Medicine in 2013 and her medical residency at Michigan State University at Grand Blanc, Michigan.  Dr. Brar, joined Niagara Medical Group in 2020 and has a special interest in preventative medicine, women’s health, and chronic disease management.  Dr. Brar lives in Niagara Falls with her husband, Joe and their puppy Romeo.  She enjoys the outdoors and sunshine and a good book, and spending time with family and friends
